Time to change the tyre on the ST. The original BT56 has now don 8.5k.
The tyre I decided to fit is the Michelin Roadtec Z6 that was fitted to
the ZXR750 for a short while (the last Le-Mans trip) before putting the
Corsa's back on.

The first thing you have to is raise the front
wheel off the ground. With the bike on the
Center Stand I use a Harris front paddock stand
as shown. The bike still sits on the center
stand but the front wheel is nice and high.
It compresses the front forks slightly

Remove the front calipers,
remembering to protect
the wheel rim.

I use, in this case a tent peg to hole the
caliper away from the wheel/fairing.
It's better and easier then bungies.

Wedge a piece of wood under
the wheel to support it while
you remove the spindle.

The trick to inserting the front
wheel is to insert it from the front.
Get it to the correct height
with block of wood and just roll
it in with the speedo drive
and spacer in place.

Nice and easy does it.
